Interested in international tax, numbers and business analysis?
We are looking for a Junior Tax Assistant – Transfer Pricing Team to join our Tax Compliance practice. You will support experienced transfer pricing professionals in preparing documentation, performing economic analyses and helping clients comply with Romanian and international transfer pricing rules.

What will you actually do?

You will work as part of the Transfer Pricing Team, supporting client engagements and learning how to apply legislation and OECD guidelines to real business situations.

Core responsibilities

  • Client transfer pricing work: Contribute to client projects such as benchmark studies, preparation of transfer pricing documentation/reports and supporting more senior colleagues during transfer pricing audits.
  • Data collection & analysis: Gather financial, operational and transactional data from clients and analyze it to support transfer pricing positions and benchmarking studies.
  • Documentation & report drafting: Assist in drafting sections of transfer pricing reports, memos and other deliverables, using appropriate business and technical language in English and Romanian.
  • Legislation & guidelines application: Work with in-depth knowledge of Romanian transfer pricing legislation and a good understanding of the OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines to support compliant solutions.
  • Support in audits and reviews: Assist senior colleagues in responding to tax authority queries, preparing supporting files and organizing documentation for transfer pricing audits.
  • Stakeholder liaison: Liaise with relevant project counterparties (internal team members, client contacts, other advisors) to collect information and clarify requirements.

Experience & background

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an economic or technical field, with an excellent academic record.
  • Master’s degree in Finance or Economics would be a plus.
  • Professional experience/Internships (1–2 years) in transfer pricing work within consulting or accounting would pe a plus
  • Fluent written and spoken English, with a focus on professional reports/memo writing and the use of appropriate business/technical language.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
