The programme covers live e‑invoicing mandates, upcoming regulatory obligations, and future‑looking initiatives aligned with the EU VAT in the Digital Age (ViDA) agenda. The role sits at the intersection of tax regulation, technology delivery, and programme execution.

What will you actually do?
Requirements & business analysis
- Translate country specific e invoicing and digital reporting mandates into clear functional and technical requirements
- Maintain a structured requirements backlog across multiple jurisdictions
- Document end to end data flows for outgoing and incoming invoices, including formats, validation rules, submission channels and deadlines
- Identify gaps between current ERP / invoicing setups and regulatory compliance requirements
Delivery coordination
- Act as the primary working level interface between programme leadership, technical developers and external vendors
- Coordinate sprint planning, delivery milestones and open items
- Track dependencies, risks, blockers and decisions
- Coordinate user acceptance testing with country finance and tax teams
- Prepare concise, structured status updates for programme leadership
Vendor & platform management
- Support evaluation and management of e invoicing solution providers (e.g. Sovos, Pagero, Ecosio, Fonoa)
- Own integration documentation between ERP systems and the selected compliance platform
- Monitor regulatory change feeds and assess impact on scope and timelines
Business case & risk support
- Maintain programme cost, risk and exposure tracking
- Quantify compliance exposure by country and regulatory deadline
- Support preparation of materials for senior internal stakeholders
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who bridges tax knowledge and technical delivery — a professional who can move comfortably between regulation, requirements and execution.
- Experience: 3–6 years in tax technology, ERP implementation, or indirect tax compliance, in a hands‑on delivery role
- Regulatory exposure: direct experience with at least one clearance‑model country (Romania, Italy or Poland strongly preferred)
- Technical literacy: ability to work with API documentation, XML schemas and data mapping
- Systems knowledge: functional understanding of SAP or Oracle in a finance / tax context
- Communication: fluent English; Romanian or Hungarian is an advantage
- Working style: autonomous, structured, solution‑oriented, and comfortable managing complexity
The role requires a professional who can bridge tax regulatory knowledge and technology delivery, translating complex requirements into clear documentation and enabling effective programme execution while communicating confidently with senior stakeholders.
What success looks like at 90 days
Within the first 90 days, the role delivers documented requirements for priority jurisdictions, supports a clear vendor recommendation, unblocks initial country integrations, and provides structured visibility that allows programme leadership to focus on strategic decision‑making.
