Who are you?
- Educational background:
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or Polytechnics, with a focus on accounting. - Professional experience:
3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and/or audit activities. - Technical knowledge:
Good understanding of Romanian Accounting Standards (RAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), as well as the Romanian business environment. - People leadership experience:
Prior experience in coordinating or managing teams. - Communication skills:
Excellent English and Romanian, written and spoken. Other European languages are a plus. - Digital skills:
Sound knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint. - Professional certification:
ACCA, CAFR, or similar certifications (in progress or completed) are an advantage, but not mandatory. - Working style:
Self‑motivated, result‑oriented, and comfortable working in a collaborative, professional services environment. - Additional advantage:
Experience in a shared service center or delivery environment is considered a plus.
What will you actually do?
- Team leadership & coordination:
Lead a team of approximately 5–7 professionals delivering audit‑related tasks based on instructions and information provided by KPMG audit teams. - Work planning & allocation:
Allocate tasks and workloads, schedule activities, and ensure deadlines and service levels are met. - Quality oversight:
Review team members’ work and be accountable for the quality and consistency of deliverables. - Performance management:
Conduct regular performance assessments, provide timely feedback, and support individual development. - Coaching & training:
Train new team members and continuously develop existing staff on technical and process‑related topics. - Reporting & KPIs:
Prepare operational reports and provide monthly KPI analysis to support management decisions. - Process improvement:
Contribute to projects focused on process enhancement, standardization, and efficiency. - Stakeholder communication:
Communicate effectively with KPMG audit teams and relevant internal stakeholders.
