We are currently looking for an Auditor with English to join our Audit Delivery Academy UK team in Bucharest, supporting UK-based audit engagements.

Role Overview

As an Auditor, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality audit support services, working closely with KPMG UK teams. You will be involved in key audit processes while also ensuring accuracy, compliance, and consistency in all deliverables.

This role is ideal for professionals with audit or accounting experience who want to grow in an international, collaborative environment.


Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields
  • 3–5 years of experience in audit and/or accounting
  • Good knowledge of Romanian Accounting Standards (RAS) and IFRS
  • Previous exposure to team coordination or mentoring is a plus
  • Advanced English skills (written and spoken); Romanian required
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Professional certifications (ACCA, CAFR, or similar) – nice to have
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in shared service or delivery centers is an advantage


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver audit support services in line with KPMG methodologies and quality standards
  • Participate in all audit phases: planning, execution, documentation, and reporting
  • Prepare and maintain audit documentation and working papers
  • Review work performed (where applicable) to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and support communication with audit teams
  • Meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives

 Additionally 10% of time:

  • Support and guide junior colleagues
  • Assist in coordinating team activities and workload distribution
